Founded in 2012 by first-generation U.S. immigrants who met at Harvard Business School in the mid 1990’s, LCR Capital Partners is a partner- owned investment firm that deploys EB-5 investments typically as 5-year loans, into premier hospitality brands and iconic U.S. real estate projects in Miami, New York City and Dallas.

LCR currently serves over 600 High Net-Worth Investors (HNIs) clients from 30+ countries around the world through its six global offices. The firm helps its investor clients and their families secure U.S. green cards and permanent residency through the EB-5 Immigrant Investor visa program. LCR’s primary client base comes from global high net worth investors, primarily from India, Brazil, the Middle East, South Africa, Southeast Asia and Latin America.

Open Position: Managing Director, Latin America
Location: Miami or São Paulo

The Opportunity:

The Managing Director, Latin America will be joining the firm’s rapidly expanding global commercial team and will be working closely with LCR’s Global and Regional leadership.

LCR Capital Partners advises HNIs on U.S. investment opportunities, most of our investors are sourced via LCR’s channel partners and online lead generation efforts. The successful candidate for this position will ideally have existing contacts and relationships with family offices, high net worth individuals, and/or other institutional investors, with a proven track record of raising capital and interfacing with investors. We are seeking an extremely well organized, self-starter who can
identify and pursue investor and channel opportunities.

The Managing Director, Latin America is expected to lead LCR’s commercial efforts across the following key responsibilities:

  • Engaging and serving the needs of existing channel partners and advising their clients on LCR’s EB-5 offerings
  • Advising prospective clients generated from the firm’s online marketing efforts
  • Identifying new channel partners across India who could potentially help expand the firm’s SE Asia practice

The role is primarily comprised of client and partner facing activities and the firm is looking for a confident incumbent to join the team, lead it and hit the ground running.

Subject matter training:

We understand that you may not be fully aware about EB-5 investments. You will learn on-the-job as you work with LCR’s team in Brazil and globally. We expect you to be committed to the business and be highly coachable and eager to learn. LCR is growing rapidly and there is great growth potential to sales leadership positions within LCR for the right individual.

Compensation:

– Base Salary: USD $100K Annually
– Quarterly Performance Bonus (based on meeting (exceeding/or not exceeding) quarterly expectations:

  • Exceeds Expectations = 60% of Annual Salary, payable each quarter
  • Meets Expectations = 40% of Annual Salary, payable each quarter
  • Below Expectations = 0 to 20% of Annual Salary, payable each quarter

– Annual Performance Bonus (based on individual and firm-wide performance)

Are you the one?

  • Have you spent at least 7-10 years in a client and/or partner facing environment, preferably in a financial services
    firm?
  • Do you have a proven track record of selling financial services to U/HNI clients and/or professional or advisory
    services to C-level executives in Latin America and Brazil?
  • Do you have successful experience in building distribution relationships with U/HNI-related channels (accounting
    firms, wealth managers, attorneys, etc..)
  • Have you built a demonstrable strong personal and professional network of U/HNI relationships across LATAM?
  • Do you have access to prestigious networks (alumni/clubs/associations)?
  • Are you trained in the Value Selling Framework or other value based selling methodologies?
  • Do you have excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in English, Spanish and Portuguese?

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Manage LCR’s four-person Brazil team, based in Sao Paulo, as a “Player/Coach” as well as manage LCR’s sales and marketing strategy and execution for the entire Latin America region.
  • Conduct 1×1 sales meetings with qualified HNIs, handle objections and close new EB-5 investors
  • Cultivate relationships with existing clients and prospects across Latin America and Brazil
  • Meet predetermined performance targets
  • Understand and track investor’s interests so as to efficiently manage time, prioritizing opportunities and communicate their needs to LCR’s investment product teams.
  • Extensive travel across Latin America region is required, including 1 week per month in Brazil. First year expectation ranges from 10 working days to 14 working days per month outside of your base location.

Candidate Competencies:

  • Established track record in client-facing positions, preferably in sales and/or business development environment
  • The ideal candidate will have an established track record in transactional, HNI and/or C-level advisory or wealth management sales. An in-depth understanding of the financial and investment markets and the ability to establish new relationships
  • Self-managed, highly driven by relationship management and objective based compensation
  • Proven intellectual ability and interpersonal skills. Able to establish credibility and influence with institutional and individual investor communities.
  • Highly effective in forging working relationships with team members and business counterparts. Ability to inspire and motivate the team to deliver high levels of performance.
  • Strong time management, organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to handle peak workloads, multiple assignments and produce results
  • Fluency required in English, Portuguese and Spanish.

Open Position: Director, South East Asia
Location: Singapore

  • Conduct 1×1 sales meetings with qualified HNIs, answer questions and handle objections and close new EB-5 investors
  • Cultivate relationships with existing clients and prospects across S/E Asia
  • Meet predetermined performance targets
  • Understand and track investor’s interests so as to efficiently manage time, prioritizing opportunities
  • Create and manage HNI-focused investor events including partnering with firm’s existing alliance partners in educational consulting and wealth management industries and attend on the firm’s behalf
