Open Position: Sales Associate

The Opportunity:

The Brazil Senior Associate for Sales will be joining the firm’s rapidly expanding global commercial team and will be working closely with LCR’s Brazil Director based in São Paulo. Based on his/her strong performance in the first or second year, this role should progress and lead to a promotion to Vice President position.

LCR Capital Partners advises HNW investors on U.S. investment opportunities, most of which are primarily sourced via LCR’s referral partners and online lead generation efforts. The incumbent candidate will be expected to support LCR’s commercial team in the following functions:

  • Supporting administrative functions at the São Paulo office – communicating and resolving day to day issues with LCR team in other locations
  • Engaging and serving the needs of existing referral partners and advising clients on LCR’s EB-5 offerings
  • Qualifying prospective clients generated from the firm’s online marketing efforts
  • Identifying new referral partners across Brazil and LATAM who could potentially help expand the firm’s business

The role is primarily comprised of client and partner facing functions in nature, thus the firm is looking for a confident and motivated self-starter who enjoys engaging with clients and selling a strong value proposition.

Subject matter training:

We understand that you may not be fully aware about EB-5 investments. You will learn on-the-job as you work with LCR’s team in Brazil and globally. We expect you to be committed to the business and be highly coachable and eager to learn. LCR is growing rapidly and there is great growth potential to sales leadership positions within LCR for the right individual.

Are you the one?

  • Have you spent 5-7 years in a client facing role, preferably from a private client group in a financial services firm?
  • Do you go the extra mile to identify an opportunity or serve a client?
  • Are you confident meeting new people, discussing what you do and are you able to navigate new networks?
  • Do you have access to networks (alumni/clubs/associations) that you are connected to?
  • Do you have excellent communication skills (verbal and email) in Portuguese, Spanish and English?
  • Are you able to handle peak workloads during end of quarter closing periods?
  • Are you happy to travel outside of your base location for up to 10 working days per quarter?
  • Are you a self-starter, proactive and comfortable working under minimal supervision?

A work-day at LCR Brazil would include but not be limited to the following:

  • Back Office Functions
    • Research and Identify potential referral partners for LCR Brazil and LATAM – wealth management firms, education consultants, immigration attorneys, independent advisors in the HNW segment.
    • Liaise with and service existing referral partners of LCR Brazil and LATAM. Track and address their requirements, investor pipeline and new onboarding
    • Prepare meeting reports, sales forecasts and other necessary paperwork in the course of day-to-day business operations
    • Collaborate effectively with Client Services to manage the client onboarding process
  • Front Office Functions
    • Qualify new clients by conducting in-person or phone meetings with potential investors identified by our referral partners or generated via online marketing / your own networks
    • Track, manage and service investor pipeline – address questions and nudge towards closure
