Empowering Change: LCR’s Partnership With UNICEF

3 min read

LCR’s support for UNICEF goes beyond our financial support of the organization

At LCR Capital Partners, we believe in the power of collective action to drive positive change and make a meaningful impact on the world. That’s why we are proud to highlight our support of UNICEF, an organization dedicated to championing the rights and well-being of every child, everywhere.

ABOUT UNICEF

UNICEF, the United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund, is a global leader in advocating for the rights of children and ensuring that their basic needs are met. Established in 1946, UNICEF operates in more than 190 countries and territories, working tirelessly to provide healthcare, education, nutrition, and protection to children in need. With a commitment to building a better future for every child, UNICEF’s work is crucial in addressing the challenges faced by vulnerable communities around the globe.

WHY SUPPORT UNICEF?

Supporting UNICEF is not just an investment in the well-being of children; it’s also a commitment to a better, more equitable world. UNICEF’s initiatives range from immunization programs and access to clean water to education and protection against exploitation. By supporting UNICEF, we contribute to attaining the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals, fostering a world where every child has the opportunity to grow, learn, and thrive. Highlighted by our CEO Sherman Baldwin’s recent trip to and sponsorship of a Model UN India event, LCR has always supported and advocated for the right to education and, through it, international cooperation.

LCR’S COMMITMENT

LCR is driven by a sense of responsibility to make a positive impact beyond our business operations. Our commitment to social responsibility aligns seamlessly with UNICEF’s mission, and we are dedicated to supporting its goals.

In 2020, we took a bold step forward in our support for UNICEF by initiating a unique giving program. For every new client referral that turned into an I-526, we pledged to donate $1,000 to the organization. This innovative approach not only allowed us to express gratitude to our clients but also enabled us to contribute meaningfully to UNICEF’s life-changing initiatives. The program continued through 2021 as well.

Our partnership with UNICEF goes beyond financial contributions; it’s a shared commitment to creating a better world for future generations. We echo UNICEF’s ethos not only with the business we’re in but also by emphasizing the importance of education, healthcare, and protection for children. We’ve donated money to the children of Ukraine following Russia’s 2022 invasion of the country. By aligning our values with UNICEF’s, we strive to inspire others within our community to join us in supporting this worthy cause.
