LCR’s Partner Developer Excels in Its ESG Practices Without Sacrificing Efficiency and Revenue
Hall Group, a Dallas-based commercial real estate development company, has been a partner of LCR since 2017. As of 2023, the companies have worked together on three EB-5 projects.
In its 55 years of operation, the company has accrued a lengthy history of demonstrating its commitment to core ESG values.
First and foremost, their projects are built to last. The projects constructed within the last decade were all created to a minimum LEED Silver standard. LEED is a credit-based system designed to score any building on sustainability. Hall Arts Residencies, located in the heart of the Arts District in Dallas, is the first building in Texas to register for WELL building standard gold certification for multifamily living. WELL is a similar performance-based system that evaluates buildings’ effect on residents’ well-being. A second complex they have built, HALL Park, is a 15-building office development in Frisco, Texas. It was the first office campus in the nation to apply for the Fitwel designation on account of lakes, three-mile bike and walk lanes and even an upcoming public park within the complex. Like the HALL Arts building, HALL Park includes public spaces with high-profile artworks for residents and visitors. As of 2021, there were 950 WELL and Fitwel-certified buildings in the whole world, with just half of them located in the United States, making Hall Group’s commitment to health innovation a rarity.
In addition to excellence when it comes to its product, HALL Groups has made a difference in its communities with its “We C.A.R.E.” initiative. Among the company’s accomplishments under the initiative are donating millions of dollars and volunteer time to making arts easily accessible, leading the creation of a Kaleidoscope Park in Frisco, matching employee’s charitable contributions up to $500 per year, providing 40 hours of addition PTO for all employees to use for volunteering and charitable purposes and much more.
