Moving to another country is a dream pursued by many Brazilians. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Brazil, approximately 4.4 million Brazilians achieved this dream by August 2022. Many countries offer Immigrant Investor Programs to foreigners to authorize a “purchase” of their rights to live in these countries. Eventually, obtaining citizenship from the countries where the investors applied for visas is also possible. This article will discuss five countries with Immigrant Investor Programs: the United States, Portugal, Greece, Italy, New Zealand, Panama, and the United Arab Emirates.
